Misfits Rule!

I made this tag in paint shop pro x2 though any version will do and I assume you have a working knowledge of psp and working with layers and templates.

I am using the awsome Keith Garvey. Please do not use his tubes without a proper license. you can purchase one at mtpsptubes HERE .

You will need template 4 by Vicki & Jaylyn. It is a collab template made by my CreativeMisfits pals. you will find it under Collab template challenge 2 and its the last group of templates from that challenge HERE . Remember to leave some love when downloading coz these ladies work extremely hard to make awsome stuff.

Eyecandy 4 gradient glow (opitional) and a font of your choice. I used Romance Fatal Serif. You can get at dafont HERE .

Lets begin.

Open the template and duplicate by hitting shift d on your keyboard. Close the original. Delete the credit layer and increase your canvas size to 700 pixels.

Go to the bottom layer and paste element 41 from my kit. Resize and drop shadow. I used 1,1,40,4 black.

Select raster 6 layer. Selections, select all, float, defloat. Paste paper 2, selections, invert and delete. Select none. Drop shadow and delete the original layer.

Select all raster 4 layer, float, defloat and paste paper 17. Selections, invert, delete and select none. Drop shadow and delete the original layer.

On raster 3 layer select all, float, defloat and paste paper 1, selections, invert and delete. Invert again and paste your tube. When happy with its placement , invert selection and delete. Select none. Duplicate your tube and gassian blur 3. Change properties blend to overlay. drop shadow square and delete original layer.

Repeat with the other square layer.Drop shadow raster 5.

Selection all raster 2, float, defloat and paste paper 16. Selections, invert, delete. Select none and delete the original layer.

Drop shadow the wordart layers.

Copy and paste element 20 and centre it. With the magic wand select inside the frames, modify and expand selection by 3, paste paper 4, selections, invert and delete. select none. Drag this layer under your frames. Grab your magic wand again and select the first frame, expand selection by 3 and paste your tube. When you have what you want showing in the frame, selctions, invert and delete. Select none. Drag this layer under your frame. Repeat for the the other two frames. (See my tag for reference). When your done merge the three tube layers together and duplicate. Adjust, blur gassian blur 3. Change the blend properties to soft light. Change the blend to luminance(L) on your original layer. I also added a blind effect width 3, opacity 15, horizontal checked and colour black.

Now its time to add your elements. Paste element 30 and resize. Drop shadow and drag it down so its under the two squares and above the two circles.

Back to the top and paste element 42. resize and drop shadow. Move it to the left of your tag.

Paste element 22 and resize. Drag it to the bottom under the wire and move slightly to the left. Duplicate, mirror image and flip.

Add any other elements you wish.

Paste your main tube and add a big blurry shadow. Then finally add your name.

Merge and save. Don't forget your copyright.

Blade

For this tutorial you will need a tube and font of your choice.

I am using one of my favorite artists Ismael Rac. You need to purcase a liscence to use his work.

Font I'm using is Blade II which you can find here

preset shape .here

Open a new image 600x600.

Set your preset shape to eclipse. Background null and foreground a colour from your tube, stroke solid size 15.

Holding down your shift key draw a large circle. Go to objects and align centre. Do not convert to raster, we are going to add our name.

Select your Blade font and set to floating move your cursor on your circle and when you see the little half moon under the A and type your name  around the circle.

When you are happy go to selections and promote selection to layer and select none, drop shadow. Now you can convert your circle to raster.

Still on your circle layer add an inner bevel and a subtle shadow.

(I used the default settings but changed the bevel to no. 9.)

Paste your tube and add a shadow.

We are going to add our other shape now so make sure you are on the bottom layer.

Preset shape O. Background a colour from your tube foreground null. Make the shape slightly smaller than your circle, when happy convert to raster.

Duplicate this layer 3 times for a total of 4 layers.

Make the bottom shape layer active and gassian blur settings 25.

Now go to your plugin folder and select toadies. ommadawn using default settings.

Now go to the next shape layer and add dsb flux, bright noise settings 50, mix.

Now go to the next layer and add bright noise but click the mix twice and on the last shape layer click the mix layer 3 times.

Crop your tag and add your copyright.

Now we are going to animate.

close off two of the shape layers and copy merged. Paste into animation shop as a new animation.

Back in psp close off that layer and open the next shape layer, copy merged and in AS paste after current frame.

Back in psp close off that layer and open the last shape layer. Copy merged and paste after current animation in AS.
